Dr.
Dan Maxton, Lead Pastor
More often than not you’ll catch our Lead Pastor pulling
into the church parking lot on his Buel motorcycle (500 cc).
You may also spot Dan jogging around his neighborhood either for
fun or training for a Marathon. He’s an avid reader, loves to
travel and enjoys playing the card game Rook.
He and Sharon have been married
for 30 years and are proud of their three adult children: Jon
(25), Eric (23) and Jackie (21). Dan’s passion is to lead
people into a life-changing relationship with God so that they
become whole-hearted followers of Christ. Prior to moving to
Southern California, Dan pastored two churches in the Midwest
for 17 years before joining TeAMerica and Great Lakes Church
Planting. Having traveled to Ukraine seven times, he’s loves
mentoring leaders here and abroad to multiply and mobilize
churches.

Tim
Nellis, Student Ministries Pastor
Ever since Tim was a
kid, he loved the beach, the sand, salty water, waves,
everything about it. He is a fan of almost anything that takes
place outdoors. From fishing, to football, to golf, he loves it
all. When he’s not outdoors, he is at home hanging out with his
wife Natalie trying out some new recipe in the kitchen. As an
avid cook, Tim believes that eating good food with friends is
one of the best things that life has to offer.
Tim has been at RBBC
since 2004 as the director of Student Ministries. He loves what
he does and believes that true fellowship with God and community
with others starts in the Jr. high and high school years of
life. Tim came to know and love God during this time in his
life, and loves to help others do the same. |

of their family close by.
For the last 28
years Nancy has devoted her life to the RBBC Preschool where her
goal has been to provide a safe and loving environment for
children to learn. Nancy says “These children are God’s most
precious gift to their parents and I strive to see that they are
treated with the love of Jesus."
When not at the
preschool you can usually find Nancy shopping, at a yard sale,

Bill Griffin,
Facilities Manager
Some people have
pets that live with them. Bill Griffin, however, is very happy
to live in a zoo with his two dogs, cat, bunny, fish and “the
girls.” At any given time, you may find Bill with a
paint brush, hammer, wrench or leash in either hand.
For fun, Bill loves to take
Cooper down to Lake Hodges to fetch sticks out of the water. He also
likes to restore vintage cars and is currently working on a 1941 Dodge
with his Dad. Professionally, Bill has run his own painting business for
a couple of decades. He is a natural at building, fixing and restoring
homes, facilities and cars, and feels right at home as the RBBC
Facilities Manager. Jill and Bill has been married for 18 years and they
have three daughters, Kathleen (24), Julia (21), and Darlene (12). |

Debbie
Anderberg, Administrative Assistant/Pastor Support
Scrapbooking, singing, reading, and journaling; these are only a few of
the things that you will find Debbie doing. Although she is very involved
in the life on the church, she finds herself spending her time with God
in her garden. When her husband Tom and her three boys (Paul, John, and
David) are all together a good game of Bible Outburst is in order.
Spending time with her and her family at a Bible study or for lunch is
always warm, comforting and entertaining. Debbie really is a host with the
most.
